Advisory Group

Steve Berrick is an artist and creative coder. His works are software driven experiences for interactive systems and performance; sometimes visual; sometimes aural; sometimes informative. He enjoys process, collaboration and presenting projects to audiences in galleries, theatres, museums and the street. 

Kathryn Gledhill-Tucker is a Nyungar technologist, writer, and digital rights activist. She currently leads an initiative at Thoughtworks, a global technology consultancy company, to grow and nurture a team of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander technologists. She also serves as the Vice-Chair of Electronic Frontiers Australia and sits on the board of Overland Literary Journal.  

Kartini Ludwig is the Director of Kopi Su, an independent creative studio specialising in digital strategy, experience and design. She is also an established Producer with a diversity of experience delivering projects at the cross-section of art and technology including interactive projects in AR, VR and AI, for teams like Google Creative Lab, Lens Immersive and the Biennale of Sydney. 

kelli mccluskey is an artist and co-founder of tactical media art group, pvi collective. founded in 1998 and based on Whadjuk Noongar boodja, Western Australia, pvi collective is a tactical media art group who create participatory artworks intent on the creative disruption of everyday life. pvi use gameplay alongside emerging, familiar and DIY technology to explore creative solutions for living in an unstable 21st century. 

Lucie Paterson is a creative and innovative museum and arts leader and Head of Experience, Digital & Insights at ACMI. She is driven by workforce transformation and specialises in embedding user experience and systems thinking across an organisation to drive change. Her current work focuses on the recently opened $40m redevelopment of ACMI, building a new institution of interactive media and screen culture. 

Ana Tiquia is a hybrid practitioner who plays at the messy fringes of art, technology, design and culture. Her work encompasses producing, curation, futures thinking and strategy. Drawing upon these practices, Ana aims to create spaces for critical and generative conversations on emerging technologies and futures. Ana is Head of Development & Strategy at creative technology studio Grumpy Sailor.

The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is a non-profit, multi-arts organisation situated in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre on Whadjuk Noongar boodja in Western Australia. Since 1989, we have worked as a development and presenting organisation, delivering curated programs of exhibitions, contemporary dance, experimental theatre, new music and live art by Australian and international artists.

PICA is recognised as a leader at the intersection of art forms and champions artists who challenge boundaries. We provide studio, event, learning and access programs that forge connections between artists and audiences across cultures and geographies. We are committed to creating sustainable pathways for artists, working with them throughout their careers, remaining responsive to their changing needs and the evolving arts landscape.
