As part of the boorda yeyi 2025 Foundational Symposium and led by WA-based artist and animator in spatial technologies, Sohan Ariel Hayes, this workshop explores strategies for mapping projected light onto both natural and built environments. Beginning with a re-creation of one of the earliest spatial and immersive films, Line Describing a Cone by Anthony McCall, participants are introduced to methods of drawing in space and techniques for manipulating beams and optics.
