Justin McArdle

Artist Bio

Justin McArdle is an immersive producer and artist exploring digital technologies, spatial memory and performative storytelling. As Frame Labs’ founder, he leads XR projects across film, games and live performance, reimagining presence in immersive media. His artistic practice examines memory, space and time through works like Memory Walls and FAC Time Window. As a producer, he has collaborated with multidisciplinary artists including Jonathan Glazer (The Zone of Interest), Sutu (Battle of the Mind, Future Dreaming) and SBS (Is Australia Racist?), fusing XR technology with contemporary storytelling. Justin worked with Co3’s Raewyn Hill on THE INSIDE, a VR dance experience reimagining THE ZONE (2017), pushing boundaries by blending motion capture, architecture and digital space.

Perth Institue of Contemporary Arts — PICA — runs a year round program of art, exhibitions, contemporary performance, dance, theatre, music and events.
