Dr Martina Mrongovius (she/her) is an artist and curator who creates holographic art and experiential media. Martina’s spatially animated holographic scenes are made from hundreds of photographs and videos to investigate the psychophysical experience of relational dynamics. Collaboratively she engages Space initiatives and develops participatory art experiences, these have included adventures on the waterways of New York City and a quantum physics inspired comic book adventure game that was played across Melbourne. Her current research explores interactivity, image structures and experiential poetics. Dr Mrongovius joined Edith Cowan University in 2025 as a Creative Research Fellow in Visual Arts.
